Srinagar Arrival → Pahalgam (96 km / 3 hrs)
Meet & greet at Srinagar Airport and begin your scenic drive to Pahalgam, known as the “Valley of Shepherds,” famous for its lush meadows, Lidder River and pine-covered mountains. En route, visit saffron fields, the historic Awantipura ruins and picturesque countryside rice fields that showcase rural Kashmir. Driving through pine forests, you reach Pahalgam where you can enjoy leisure walks and peaceful mountain views. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Pahalgam / Srinagar
Spend a relaxed day in Pahalgam, a destination known for its untouched natural beauty, calm rivers and green valleys that make it ideal for unwinding. Visit Aru Valley and Betaab Valley, both known for their scenic meadows, flowing streams and surrounding mountains that create postcard-perfect landscapes. Later, drive back to Srinagar, a beautiful lake city known for its gardens, houseboats and cultural charm. Enjoy an overnight stay in a traditional houseboat on Nageen Lake, a quieter and more serene part of Srinagar known for its calm waters and scenic surroundings. Staying in a houseboat offers a unique experience with beautifully carved wooden interiors, traditional Kashmiri decor and views of mountains reflecting on the lake.
Srinagar Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore Srinagar, the heart of Kashmir, known for its lakes, Mughal gardens and traditional lifestyle. Visit Mughal Gardens-Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh-famous for their terraced lawns, fountains and views of Dal Lake, reflecting Mughal-era beauty and design. Visit Shankaracharya Temple, located on a hilltop, offering panoramic views of the entire city. Later, visit a carpet-weaving factory to witness Kashmiri craftsmanship and explore Lal Chowk, the vibrant center of Srinagar showcasing local culture and markets. Overnight stay in a traditional houseboat, experiencing the unique charm of staying on Dal Lake.
Srinagar / Gulmarg / Srinagar
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (approx. 60 km / 2.5 hrs), known as the “Meadow of Flowers,” famous for its vast meadows, snow-covered peaks and adventure activities. Experience the famous Gondola ride, one of the highest cable cars in the world, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas and surrounding valleys. Gulmarg is also a popular destination for skiing and scenic landscapes. Return to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Srinagar – Kargil – Sonmarg
Early morning departure from Srinagar for a full-day excursion towards Kargil via the scenic Srinagar-Leh Highway, known for its rugged mountains and high-altitude passes. Drive through Sonmarg, meaning “Meadow of Gold,” a stunning valley surrounded by glaciers, alpine meadows and towering peaks that shine beautifully in sunlight. Cross Zoji La Pass, one of the most thrilling mountain passes in India and visit Drass, known as the second coldest inhabited place in the world. Stop at
the Kargil War Memorial, which honors the bravery and sacrifice of soldiers during the Kargil War, making this journey both scenic and historically meaningful. After
exploring Kargil, known for its rugged terrain and strategic importance, return to Sonmarg. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel/camp and enjoy the serene beauty of glaciers, meadows and surrounding peaks. Overnight stay in Sonmarg.
Sonmarg-Srinagar-Departure
Transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, concluding your trip with unforgettable memories of Kashmir’s valleys, mountains and cultural richness.

- Local Union Taxi in Sonmarg Zero Point / Zojila / Fish Point (Sonamarg) (payable directly).
- Anything not mentioned under “Tour Cost Includes” should be

- Additional costs arising due to changes in itinerary/stay caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as
- Flight cancellations/delays, harsh weather, landslides, road blockages, strikes, political disturbances or ill health.
